When I went outside
to collect my
Tesco delivery,
instead of the usual groceries
I ordered,
the delivery
guy handed me
a crate containing
a baby
with its sexual organs
removed.

I said: What the fuck is this?
He said: You know what it is.

It's a crate with a baby inside
that has had its sex denied.
I didn't know what to say
so I said I don't know what to say
But the delivery
man interuppted me
He said: I don't know why you're being so unpleasant.
I'm not the one who castrated this infant.

The two of us were standing
facing each other
outside the entrance to my house
He had put the crate on the ground,
between the two of us.
I could see the sexual-organless
baby
clearly.
It was smiling at me.

i was confused
and not amused
did not understand
the words he used
When I asked him to clarify
He asked if I
insist that my
family line
continues
he said, if you could choose
would you refuse
a kid that could
not reproduce
i said i'd only wanted some
cereal and orange juice!
i am a bachelor living footloose
he said, that's no excuse!

but we argued on, he and i
till four hours went by,
the sun went down,
so i said come in sit down
and went in the door
but turned around,
to see him fleeing fast
it was just me and the kid at last,

I looked around for something to throw
People were looking at me like I was a psycho.
I screamed at him:
You'll never get away with this!
I think I even shook my fist
at him as he drove off.
and the kid gave a little cough
